Student-athletes excel in the classroom

Manhattan, KS- Excellence in college athletics is more than just succeeding on the field of competition. It's succeeding in the classroom as well. During the spring 2016 semester the student-athletes at Manhattan Christian College did just that with 20 students earning semester honor roll (3.25 - 3.59 GPA) or deans list (3.6 GPA or higher) honors. Along with the individual success of our student-athletes our teams found themselves improving in the classroom as well. Of the eight varsity sports offered 5 found themselves with an increased team GPA from the fall to the spring semester and of those eight varsity sports 5 of them posted semester GPA's above 3.0. Congratulations to our Volleyball, Women's Basketball, Men's Cross Country, Women's Soccer, and Men's Soccer teams for posting GPA's above 3.0 during the spring 2016 semester.
