MCC Baseball Announces the Signing of Soke Agbalokwu

Manhattan, KS - MCC head baseball coach Jimmy McDonald has announced the signing of Soke Agbalokwu from Wharton County Junior College in Wharton, Texas where he played for head coach Keith Case. The 6'3 215lbs. centerfielder comes to Manhattan Christian College after playing in the prestigious Region XIV Conference in Texas. One of Agbalokwu's junior college career highlights was going 4-4 against the famous San Jacinto College.  Agbalokwu was prepped at Kempner High School in Sugar Land, TX.
"We are very fortunate to be able to get a player of Soke's caliber. He is a very gifted athlete who knows how to hit the ball to the opposite field. His ability to run is really one of his strengths and will cause a lot of trouble for some of the catchers we will face this year. It was very evident throughout the recruiting process that Soke was an outstanding kid who has a great heart and needed to be here at MCC. We are really looking forward to continuing to develop Soke at the plate and also in the weight room. The sky is the limit for this kid as he has a chance to be a very special player" commented head baseball coach Jimmy McDonald
Soke is the son of Patrick and Cecilia Agbalokwu. The family attends St. Teresa Church in Sugar Land, TX.
